Absolutely love this tweet from @Barn_Bcfc and it sums up how I feel for Russia 2018! For the first time in many years I feel England have a true identity under Gareth Southgate and whether we get knocked out in the group stages or go further into the competition I'm excited and engaged to watch the England team play.
Perceptions seem to be that the ego's have gone and the players who have been selected are friends and enjoy being together. Coupled with some of the success at younger age groups things are starting to look more promising for the three lions. Good luck lads.
